Medical education creator
I made free videos to help students understand medical school and how to get in, especially those with no one to ask. They reached 4 million views. I later co-hosted a medical education podcast from 2019 to 2023.
Healthcare data, then NHS doctor
In 2022 I led a team that built an ambulance-placement prototype in a 24-hour hackathon and presented it to 400+ people. That became a job improving NHS ambulance dispatch with data. Then I chose clinical work: 10+ specialities, from cardiology to trauma, often helping run wards through staff shortages.
First employee, cancer AI startup
Employee number one at a cancer second-opinion startup. I built a patient advocacy board and interviewed patients, carers and oncologists to shape the roadmap. When an oncologist flagged an unsafe summary, I traced it to how the system handled cancer staging, and we added a test to catch it next time.
Venture capital · Healthtech due diligence advisor
Alongside my startup roles, I reviewed early-stage healthcare companies for a venture fund. I looked at the clinical need, the evidence behind the technology and the assumptions behind the proposed market. Could it solve a real problem in care? Did the research support the claims? What still needed testing? My job was to bring a clinician’s judgement to those questions before an investment decision.
Chief of Operations, clinical AI
I work across product, partnerships and operations at a clinical AI company. That means hospital pilots in Qatar and the UAE, training clinicians, testing whether the AI is reliable, and the unglamorous data hosting and security work that decides whether a hospital says yes.
What I learned first
Before any of this, I built a tool that moved doctors’ shifts from a spreadsheet into their calendars. Colleagues shared it around. Getting a hospital to adopt it properly was a different job entirely. Everything I work on now starts from that lesson.
